Join Us for a New Multi-Subreddit AMA Featuring Leslie Kean, Dr. Peter Skafish, and Karin Austin!
Mark your calendars for February 22nd as we bring you an exciting multi-subreddit collaboration focusing on UAP and Experiencers, hosted by Leslie Kean. Joining her will be Karin Austin, Executive Director of the John Mack Institute, and Dr. Peter Skafish, Anthropologist and Executive Director of the Sol Foundation.
In the wake of our successful previous AMAs featuring James Fox, Kirk McConnell, Lenval Logan (watch here) and Leslie Kean with Hal Puthoff, Garry Nolan, and Jim Segala (watch here), dedicated moderators from r/aliens, r/Experiencers, r/HighStrangeness, r/UFOB, and r/UFOs will unite again to delve into the anthropological and sociological dimensions of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and the Experiencer Phenomenon.
About the AMA
This live event will concentrate on the nature of experiencer phenomena and their broader societal implications. Leslie will guide discussions around Karin Austin’s work related to the late John Mack and her leadership at the John Mack Institute, along with Dr. Skafish’s contributions at the Sol Foundation and his upcoming projects focused on Experiencers and UFO/UAP witnesses. Don’t miss this chance to ask about the historical context of experiencer accounts and their potential connections to spiritual experiences, folklore, and the continuity of contact throughout human history. We’ll also discuss how to legitimize experiencer studies in academia, combat stigma, and address ethical concerns when engaging with individuals who have had transformative experiences.
Join us live on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, at 1 PM PST / 4 PM EST for this collaborative event. It will be streamed across various platforms including YouTube and Twitter/X. Follow us on Instagram and stay updated on BlueSky.
