Is this a drone? I saw some blinking lights around Cambridgeshire on my way back from somewhere, and then I spotted them again on my balcony. While driving, I noticed three of them flashing, but I couldn’t capture a video. Interestingly, there was also a jet flying in the same direction nearby.
It could be a plane, but I’ve seen plenty of them outside, and the red light is always noticeable. This one, though, just had a pure white blinking light.

It sounds like what you observed could potentially be a drone. Drones often have blinking lights for visibility and safety, and the fact that you saw multiple blinking lights in the same area supports that idea. The white light you mentioned is also common for some drones, whereas planes typically have red and green lights along with white ones.
However, it’s worth noting that there are also other possibilities, like a helicopter or even certain types of aircraft that might have unusual lighting configurations. If there was a jet flying close by, it could have caused a visual crossover that made it harder to identify the source of the blinking lights.
If you’re curious, you might want to try using a drone detection app or checking online for local reports to see if anyone else spotted the same lights. It could be an interesting phenomenon!
