I want to share an incredible experience I had back in December 2016 while driving through the Ocala National Forest after work.
At the time, I was working night shifts at FedEx as a package handler, starting my shift around 11 PM. I lived in Salt Springs, right in the heart of the Ocala National Forest, and would make the drive to the FedEx hub in Ocala. One night, I was fortunate enough to get off work early, and I headed home around 3 AM.
As I drove down Highway 314, something extraordinary happened. Suddenly, my car was enveloped by a bright, pulsating pink and orange light, causing it to stall. The sheer intensity of the light frightened me to the core, leaving me feeling breathless. Then I was hit by an awful smell, reminiscent of burning tires or sulfur. Almost instantaneously, the light shifted to a dark red, and I spotted a diamond-shaped craft hovering directly above my vehicle. I distinctly remember a massive vibration shaking the entire car. Just as I started to take in the details of this craft, it shot away like a bullet and vanished in an instant.
Once the craft was gone, my car lights and radio flickered back to life, and I found myself sitting there, overwhelmed and in tears. Instead of fear, I felt an overwhelming sense of abandonment, which has lingered with me ever since. This experience has profoundly affected my life, and despite sharing it with many people, I often feel like no one believes me. It’s disheartening, and what troubles me most is that persistent feeling of being left behind.
This is challenging for me to write about. My life has become increasingly difficult since that night, leading me into a dark and unsettling place. I often find myself torn between wishing the event had never happened or wondering if I should have gone with them. It sounds strange, I know, but the impact of that early morning has left me at a loss, struggling to piece my life back together.
