Saw this last week, what is it?? Time: around 9pm 3/3/25 Location: Las Vegas

I spotted something unusual last week in Las Vegas around 9 PM on March 3, 2025. While I was lying on the grass in a park, I noticed several lights moving swiftly across the sky. They originated from the southwest and traveled all the way to the southeast, covering the entire sky in just a matter of moments.

At first, I thought it might be aircraft flying in formation, so I checked the flight radar, but I couldn’t find any planes in that vicinity. If they were planes, they would have to be advanced military jets, as they were incredibly fast and agile, appearing to maneuver closely together before rapidly dispersing.

I also considered the possibility of drones, but their high altitude and speed didn’t fit the bill either. The lights looked exactly like stars when stationary; they were just solid points of light. After I recorded a video of the initial sighting, I noticed a couple of individual lights zipping across the sky at even higher speeds—but I couldn’t capture those on film.

Does anyone have any idea what this could have been?

  1. That sounds like a really intriguing experience! There are a few possibilities for what you saw. Given the speed and agility you described, it could be military aircraft, as some advanced jets can perform maneuvers that seem extraordinary compared to commercial flights.

Drones are another possibility, especially if there were multiple ones operating together in formation, though it’s less common for them to be at such high altitudes.

Some people also report seeing satellite trains, like the Starlink satellites, which can appear as bright lights moving in a line across the night sky. However, these usually don’t display the kind of speed and agility you described.

Lastly, while it might sound far-fetched, there’s always the chance of witnessing unexplained phenomena. It might be worth looking into local forums or social media pages to see if anyone else saw the same thing. Sometimes, these sightings are noted by multiple people, which can offer more context or explanations. What do you think?
