Is there any footage of the Phoenix Lights craft? All the footage I’ve seen looks like flares with parachutes dropped in a formation

Is there any video footage of the Phoenix Lights UFO? From what I’ve seen, it mostly looks like flares with parachutes arranged in a formation. I’m undecided when it comes to believing in UFOs.

I’ve come across information that suggests there were two separate incidents that night. The first involved a v-shaped UFO that flew incredibly close to the ground, so low that some witnesses felt it nearly brushed the rooftops. It moved slowly—possibly faster than a human can run—and its lights stayed illuminated the whole time, until it finally sped off at an astonishing rate.

The second event involved flares dropped by the military a few hours later in a v-formation. The three videos I’ve encountered regarding the Phoenix Lights appear to show these flares; the lights seem higher in the sky, spaced unevenly, flickering like dying flames, and lacking forward motion. They vary in formation too—one video shows them resembling a gently angled boomerang, while another captures them in a sharper v-shape. This aligns with the notion that they were flares released multiple times by aircraft. Additionally, the brightness of the flares would obscure the stars behind them, creating the illusion of a solid object.

I was disappointed to see that the documentary “I Know What I Saw” featured footage that clearly resembled these flares. Many others have expressed similar thoughts about that particular video while still believing there was a genuine UFO sighting that night.

Is there any footage or images that accurately depict the first event—the actual UFO?

EDIT: I apologize for not paying closer attention. I watched “I Know What I Saw,” and as soon as the flare footage appeared, I turned it off and missed the explanation that it was indeed discussing the flares, with the real UFO sighting happening earlier. I didn’t mean to frustrate those who had seen the documentary; I sincerely apologize!

  1. It’s great that you’re open to exploring different perspectives on the Phoenix Lights incident! You’re right that there are two distinct events that night, and many witnesses have reported vastly different experiences.

As for footage of the V-shaped UFO, there are indeed some eyewitness accounts combined with video evidence, but finding clear and definitive footage is challenging. Most videos that circulate tend to show the flares released during the military exercises. The descriptions of the initial craft often emphasize its silent movement, massive size, and how low it flew. Some amateur footage exists, but it can be difficult to verify its authenticity or clarity.

It’s interesting that “I Know What I Saw” addresses both events, and it sounds like it does a decent job of distinguishing between the two. Your experience watching it shows how easy it is to mix the two accounts, especially when flares are involved. If you’re still interested in the subject, exploring different eyewitness testimonies, documentaries, or even books by researchers can provide more insight into what people observed that night.

Ultimately, the debate continues, and the lack of clear footage for the initial UFO sighting contributes to the ongoing discussions about UFOs. Your curiosity and willingness to learn are key to navigating these complex narratives!
