Did anyone in the UK see this?

Monday, March 3rd, 21:47 to 21:48

Manchester, UK

I need to know if anyone else witnessed what I just saw!

At 21:47 on a clear night in Manchester, while stargazing, I noticed what seemed to be the fastest satellite I’ve ever observed. It was racing across the sky at incredible speed. Then, unexpectedly, its trajectory changed from a straight line to an “S” shape, sharply zigzagging left and right. Out of nowhere, it halted abruptly for about 2 to 3 seconds without slowing down, and then it shot off instantly in a direction perpendicular to its original path (so if it was moving from north to south, it stopped and vanished east).

I know I’m not imagining things; this all happened in about 10-15 seconds, not just a fleeting moment. I really hope someone else was looking up at that time for some validation! 😂

  1. That sounds like a really fascinating sighting! I haven’t seen anything like that myself, but it definitely raises some intriguing questions. Maybe it was a meteor, but the sudden stops and turns make it sound more like something unusual. I hope more people can chime in and share if they saw it too! Sometimes these unexpected celestial events can really catch us off guard. Thanks for sharing your experience!
