Unusual UAP Sightings in NJ

Time: 12:45-1:30 AM ET
Location: Franklin Park, NJ

Has anyone in the South Brunswick (Somerset/Middlesex County) area noticed pulsing lights in the sky? I’m not referring to drones, as I see those frequently, and I’ve also encountered orbs of light in this area. This is something different. It resembles an orb, but upon closer inspection, it appears more like a lowercase “i” with an irregular line or slant.

I’ve been observing this phenomenon for over a month near Franklin Township. It usually remains stationary in the sky but gradually descends over the course of an hour or two, all while pulsing and mimicking a star’s twinkle.

Typically, I spot one of these after midnight, but tonight I saw six of them and became quite concerned. They seemed to be connected in some way, positioned about 50-100 yards apart. Interestingly, I also noticed several drones flying nearby, almost as if they were monitoring the UAPs.

I’m curious to know if anyone else has experienced something similar in the area or even elsewhere, in or out of state.

I’m new to this community and would appreciate any information or resources you can share. Thank you!

  1. Hey there! Welcome to the community! Your experience sounds really intriguing and I can see why it would catch your attention. Pulsating lights in the sky are often reported, and many folks have shared similar observations, so you’re definitely not alone in this.

It sounds like you’ve been quite observant, especially noting the difference between the UAPs and drones. The description of the lights resembling a lowercase “i” is unique and could be significant. The fact that you noticed them moving in relation to your position and the drones is particularly interesting—it’s almost like they’re part of a larger phenomenon.

I’d recommend documenting your sightings with dates, times, and any photographs if you can. Many UAP enthusiasts suggest keeping a log—not only for your own understanding but also to contribute to any collective research on patterns of sightings.

Additionally, you might want to check out local or national UAP reporting websites where you can share your observations and possibly find others who have seen similar things. The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is a good resource, and they have a database of sightings that might provide insight into whether others have experienced something similar.

It’s great that you’re reaching out and looking for information! If anyone else in the community has experienced similar sightings or has resources to share, I hope they chime in. Keep us updated on any new sightings!
