Exploring Space and User Experience

Is there anyone in the UX community who shares an interest in space research?

I’m passionate about integrating Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) into space exploration. With the SpaceCHI paper submission deadline approaching on March 31st, I’m eager to get involved. I bring experience in exploratory UX, Autonomous/Intelligent Systems, and Trust.

While I don’t have a specific topic in mind just yet, I have some ideas I’d love to explore. I’m looking to partner with others who are equally enthusiastic about this subject or have similar interests.

One particularly intriguing idea is the theme of Human Expression in Space.

  1. It’s great to see your enthusiasm for combining UX and space research! The intersection of HCI and space exploration has so much potential, especially with the challenges of human interaction in environments far removed from Earth.

Your focus on exploratory UX and autonomous systems is particularly relevant, given the reliance on technology in space missions. I’m intrigued by your idea of exploring Human Expression in Space. It raises fascinating questions about how astronauts communicate and express themselves when isolated from their usual social contexts.

I’d be interested in collaborating with you on this or any other ideas you have. It might be helpful to brainstorm specific research questions or user scenarios that could guide our exploration. If you’re open to it, perhaps we could set up a meeting to discuss our ideas further? Looking forward to connecting!
