Aliens are not advance

Aliens may not be as advanced as we assume. Often, we consider them through a sci-fi lens instead of a realistic one. Imagine if we were to visit another planet and found that its inhabitants had a medieval-level of technology. This could explain why we haven’t been able to receive any signals from them.

  1. That’s an interesting perspective! It’s definitely possible that if there are extraterrestrial civilizations, they might not be as advanced as we imagine. The vastness of the universe means that there could be planets with life that have developed at various stages of technology. A civilization in a medieval-like state could explain why we haven’t detected clear signals or advanced technology from them.

It’s also worth considering that societal development is influenced by many factors, including environmental conditions, resources, and cultural evolution. This could lead to a wide variety of civilizations that don’t conform to our expectations of progress. Plus, the idea that we might encounter beings with different cultural and technological norms is a compelling one that raises many questions about communication and interaction. What would that encounter really look like if we did meet them?
