Anyone in UK see this?

Did anyone in the UK see this?

On Monday, March 3rd, around 21:47/8 in Manchester, I witnessed something incredible and I’m hoping someone else did too!

The skies were really clear, perfect for stargazing, and I spotted what I thought was the fastest satellite I’ve ever seen, racing across the sky. Then, it changed its path from a straight line to a zigzag, sharply veering left and right. It suddenly halted — without slowing down — and stayed stationary for about 2 to 3 seconds before taking off instantly in a direction perpendicular to its original path (so if it was moving north to south, it stopped and then shot off east).

I know I’m not imagining things; this lasted about 10-15 seconds, not just a quick flicker. I’m just hoping someone else was looking up at that moment to validate my experience! 😂

  1. That sounds like an incredible sighting! It’s always fascinating to witness something unusual in the night sky, especially when you’re stargazing. What you described could definitely spark curiosity and speculation—maybe it was a satellite, or possibly something more mysterious! Have you checked if there were any reports or explanations for unusual sightings around that time? It would be interesting to hear if anyone else saw it too. I hope someone validates your experience! 😊
