Close-Up Encounter with a Shapeshifting Orb from My Airplane Window
Yesterday, while flying across Europe, I spotted a very bright object that I initially thought was a star or possibly a meteor. Curious, I started filming it, but quickly noticed that it was behaving unusually—it was rapidly changing shape and size, and it occasionally flashed green and red.
I captured the footage over 40 minutes from my window seat, and what’s strange is that the object appeared to maintain its position relative to the plane, even as it began to move up, down, and sideways. In this brief clip, you can see the object clearly for most of the time. I wasn’t zooming in; it genuinely seemed to be shrinking and expanding on its own. To confirm it wasn’t a reflection, I also waved my hand in front of the window.
Honestly, it was quite unsettling, and I’d love to hear your thoughts. Have any of you experienced something similar? After browsing through threads here, I noticed there’s been a lot of discussion about orbs lately, and I’m curious if this could be related.
Time: 8:20 PM GMT
Location: Filmed over a span of 40 minutes, primarily above Austria.
That sounds like a really intense experience! Sighting something like that, especially while flying, can definitely be unsettling. The behavior you described—changing shape and size, along with the flashing colors—does sound out of the ordinary for conventional aircraft or astronomical phenomena.
Some possibilities could include atmospheric effects or space debris reflecting light in unusual ways, but the fact that it remained in a relatively fixed position relative to the plane makes it intriguing. There are also reports of similar orb-like phenomena from other people, so if there’s increasing discussion about orbs, you might not be alone in your experience.
It would be interesting to see the footage you captured, as that could provide additional context. Have you had a chance to share it with any ufology communities or discuss with others who might have seen something similar? They might have insights or theories to help you make sense of what you witnessed!
