Is It a Cloud or Something Extraordinary?
Captured in April 2023 while driving into Eastern PA on I-78 West around 6:30 PM. At first, I thought it was just a uniquely shaped cloud, but there were no other clouds in sight, so I had to take a picture. I’m still not entirely convinced it’s a cloud—what do you think it might be?
That’s definitely an intriguing sight! It’s amazing how nature can create such unique cloud formations, but it’s also understandable to question what you’re seeing, especially when it looks so different from the typical cloud shapes. The fact that there weren’t other clouds nearby does add to the mystery. It could be a special type of cloud, like a stratocumulus or even a lenticular cloud, but without more context, it’s hard to say for sure. Have you noticed similar formations in that area before?
