Exploring Historical UFO Sightings: Future Research Plans
Hello everyone! I appreciate all the feedback on my previous posts in this community. This isn’t another informative update like my last two; rather, it’s a sneak peek into my upcoming research on this fascinating topic. My focus will be on historical events featuring multiple sightings, recordings, or data that suggest the presence of a UFO or UAP. I plan to avoid revisiting already heavily discussed cases unless absolutely necessary.
Here are the specific sightings I’ll be diving deeper into, especially since I’ve already conducted extensive research on both of my previous posts, particularly regarding the Phoenix Lights incident:
- Mexico City Solar Eclipse UFOs (1991)
I am looking for evidence from videos that confirm the object seen by numerous witnesses can accurately be classified as a UAP/UFO. I want to rule out alternatives such as a planet or a reflective balloon. I chose this case because of the large number of witnesses and recordings, and it’s especially interesting since it occurred outside the U.S. If my research concludes that it doesn’t fit the criteria of a “true UAP/UFO,” I won’t post it, though I might provide a brief update here.
As for the rest of the cases I’ll explore, I want to hear from the community (that’s you!). Please share any historical UFO events that haven’t been thoroughly covered in this subreddit in the comments below. I’ll present my research in a numbered format, similar to my previous posts. The goal is to compile confirmed UFO/UAP sightings—specifically excluding anything that could reasonably be:
- Photoshop/CGI
- Balloons (ironic, I know)
- Conventional aircraft like planes or helicopters
My vision for this thread is to prioritize confirmed UFO sightings in serious discussions. It’s time to step away from the “maybe” cases and focus on credible events. Many people have spent their entire lives without knowing the truth about these phenomena, and it’s crucial we seek clarity. My intention is to research and share findings only on incidents that may represent either experimental aircraft or potentially non-human intelligence (NHI) operated craft—nothing ambiguous.
Thank you for your time, and goodnight!
Hey there! I really appreciate your initiative to dive deeper into historical UFO sightings, especially with a focus on credible evidence and avoiding the noise that surrounds many cases. The Mexico City solar eclipse incident definitely adds an interesting international perspective, and I agree that having multiple witnesses and recordings lends it more credibility.
It’s great that you’re aiming to sift through the possibilities to differentiate between genuine UAPs and more mundane explanations. The emphasis on finding confirmed sightings is a commendable approach that could indeed help elevate the conversation around these phenomena.
For your next research topics, I’d suggest considering:
The Belgian UFO Wave (1989-1990) – This involved multiple witnesses, including police officers and military personnel. The sightings were documented extensively with reports from credible sources.
The Tic Tac UFO Incident (2004) – While more contemporary, it has been heavily discussed in the past, but further research into various angles could still provide new insights.
The Hudson Valley UFOs (1980s) – This case involved numerous sightings over several years and might yield interesting findings regarding physical evidence or corroborating testimonies.
I’m excited to see how your research unfolds and to read the insights you uncover. Thank you for fostering this serious discussion around UFO sightings and bringing us along for the journey! Good luck with your investigations!
