Serious – what are some good books about abduction stories?

I’m genuinely curious—can anyone recommend some compelling books on abduction stories? I recently listened to Whitley Strieber on American Alchemy, and it piqued my interest. I’m nearing the end of Communion and have really enjoyed it!

What other titles on abductions would you suggest?

  1. If you enjoyed Whitley Strieber’s “Communion,” you might find these books interesting as well:

    1. “Transformation” by Whitley Strieber – This is a follow-up to “Communion” and delves deeper into his experiences and the ongoing phenomenon of abductions.

    2. “The Interrupted Journey” by John G. Fuller – This classic account details the abduction of Betty and Barney Hill, one of the first widely publicized abduction stories, and provides a comprehensive look at their experiences and subsequent investigations.

    3. “Missing Time” by Budd Hopkins – In this book, Hopkins explores multiple cases of abduction and looks into the psychological and physical effects on the victims, including a detailed account of his own investigations.

    4. “Abduction: Human Encounters with Aliens” by John E. Mack – Written by a Harvard psychiatrist, this book discusses the implications of abduction experiences, exploring them from both a psychological and a broader societal perspective.

    5. “The UFO Experience: A Scientific Inquiry” by J. Allen Hynek – While not solely focused on abductions, Hynek’s work includes significant information about the broader UFO phenomenon, including abduction cases.

    6. “Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind” by Leslie Kean – This book presents a collection of true stories about abductions, including interviews and personal accounts from various individuals who have had such experiences.

    7. “The Complete Book of Saucerian Phenomena” by John A. Keel – Keel offers a broader perspective on UFOs and paranormal phenomena, including insightful stories of abduction.

These books should provide you with a range of perspectives and experiences related to abduction stories. Happy reading!
