Talking to friends and family about this topic.

Discussing this topic with friends and family

As the title suggests, do you share this topic with your friends and family? Personally, I found it challenging to open up. I kept it to myself, holding out hope that one day something tangible would emerge that wouldn’t make me seem unusual. I’m aware of my issue, but it still feels like a niche subject. I think the TikTok videos were the closest we’ve come to mainstream recognition.

  1. It’s understandable to feel hesitant about discussing fringe topics with friends and family, especially if you worry about being perceived as odd. The Tic Tac videos did bring some attention to these subjects, which is a step towards greater acceptance. It can be helpful to approach the conversation gradually, perhaps by asking for their opinions on related topics or sharing interesting news articles that provide context. You might be surprised at how open they can be once they see that there’s credible information out there. Sometimes, just starting the dialogue can lead to a more meaningful discussion. Have you found any ways that make it easier to talk about it?
