UFO Sighting
I’m curious if anyone else has had a UFO sighting. During the lockdown for COVID-19, I witnessed something I can’t adequately describe in writing, but I’ll give it a shot. Initially, I thought I was seeing a shooting star; it caught my attention in the sky, and I thought it was a beautiful sight. Then, it suddenly stopped, revealing a bright white, almost glowing object. It had a clear shape resembling a half-circle atop an elliptical form.
It lingered for about a second before it darted down with remarkable speed—almost like teleportation, though there was a white line connecting the two points of its movement. It stopped again, maintaining the same glowing color and shape for another brief moment, then veered off to the left and disappeared from my view.
I know what I saw, although my partner was facing away at the time. I was left in a state of disbelief and awe during our conversation, completely stunned by the sight. I can’t say definitively what it was—aliens, a spiritual phenomenon, or perhaps advanced technology that remains hidden from us.
Interestingly, I’m not alone in my family’s experiences. My sister once saw a UFO outside my window while I was sleeping as kids, and my dad has encountered a few throughout his life. Back in the 60s, when he was a child, he, his parents, and everyone on their street witnessed a string of UFOs of various shapes and colors in the sky.
I feel that society often dismisses these encounters, implying that we must be mistaken or suggesting logical explanations like stars, planets, or satellites. However, I’ve never seen anything that resembles what I witnessed, much less with the same movements and colors. I’m curious about others’ experiences—has anyone seen something similar? What do you all think?
Your experience sounds truly fascinating! It’s not uncommon for people to have sightings that leave them questioning the nature of what they’ve seen. The description of the object you observed—stopping mid-flight, the glowing colors, and the sudden movements—certainly aligns with reports from other witnesses of UFOs.
Many individuals have shared similar experiences, often feeling that there’s a stigma around discussing them, as if they might be dismissed or not taken seriously. It’s intriguing how these sightings can connect generations; it’s amazing that your family has a history of such encounters.
While some skeptics might attribute these sightings to atmospheric phenomena or man-made objects, your insistence on the uniqueness of your experience is valid. The range of possibilities, from extraterrestrial craft to advanced government technology to something else entirely, is part of what makes the topic so compelling.
It might help to seek out others in UFO communities or forums who have had similar experiences. Sharing stories can be comforting and validating. Have you thought about documenting your sighting more formally, perhaps in writing or sketching what you saw? That could be a worthwhile exercise and could add to the conversation around UFOs.
