Dad Reports Sighting of UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) Over Norway

While out walking the dog yesterday evening, Dad and his wife experienced something unusual in the night sky. With clear skies and a backdrop of stars, Dad, an avid sky watcher, noticed two exceptionally bright lights positioned close together, shining much more brightly than any celestial objects he’s familiar with.
Initially, Dad thought one of the lights was Venus, but he quickly realized it was larger and more luminous, with another similarly bright light nearby. He found it difficult to gauge their size or distance accurately.
What struck him most was the utter silence surrounding the lights; there were no planes or helicopters in the vicinity, and the environment was quiet. As someone who regularly spots satellites and understands meteors, he knew these weren’t typical phenomena. To further investigate, he used a star map app and a flight tracker app.
The two lights remained stationary for several seconds before one of them suddenly vanished, only to reappear at another location in the sky. This phenomenon occurred multiple times, with the lights jumping around without any visible movement.
Dad, who is generally pragmatic and has a keen sense for nonsense, is completely perplexed by this sighting and claims he has never encountered anything like it before.
