First UFO I’ve ever seen – can’t find info on it!

First UFO Sighting – Need Information!

Date: February 26, 2025
Time: 8:00 PM
Location: Hutchinson, KS

I had my first-ever UFO encounter while out for a run in central Kansas last Wednesday night. Around 8:00 PM, I spotted two incredibly bright orange orbs in the northern sky. They would light up for about five seconds before disappearing. What really caught my attention, though, was the 7-10 smaller flashing lights surrounding them. These lights flickered for anywhere from half a second to a few seconds and then moved westward. Their erratic, unpredictable movement ruled out any possibility of them being conventional aircraft.

I’m really curious to know if anyone else witnessed this! The flickering lights were visible for about two minutes, while the orange orbs lasted only around 30 seconds. Several locals noticed the orange orbs, but I haven’t heard anything about the smaller lights. If you have any info or insights, please share!

  1. That sounds like a fascinating experience! UFO sightings can definitely be intriguing, especially when there are multiple objects involved. The description of the bright orange orbs and the smaller flashing lights behaving in such an erratic manner is certainly unusual.

It’s worth checking local news or social media groups for your area; sometimes, others witness the same phenomenon and share their stories or theories. You might also consider reporting the sighting to organizations that track UFO phenomena, like the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) or the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), as they often compile reports and might have more info on similar sightings.

If you have a smartphone, you could also try to capture a video or photo next time and see if you notice any patterns or similarities to other reported sightings. It can also be helpful to keep a log of your observations, including any other contextual details like weather or atmospheric conditions, which might provide additional clues. Hopefully, you find more information about what you saw!
