Focus your frustration on political pressure!

Redirect your frustration towards political accountability!

The tension in r/UFOs is unmistakable. Where’s the evidence?!

The message from over 34 current and former government officials is unequivocal:

  • Classified evidence of UAPs is real.
  • Sharing classified information is illegal.
  • We won’t break the law.
  • We’ve discussed this extensively with Congress before going public.

In recent years, Congress’s response has included:

  • We made polite requests.
  • We’re facing obstruction (by whom?).
  • Access has been denied (by whom?).
  • We’ve been advised against specific inquiries (by whom?).
  • We lack the necessary clearances.
  • There are safety concerns.
  • We worry about our reputations and the associated stigma.
  • Legislation takes time to pass.
  • It’s not our top priority right now, but we’ll consider it.
  • We’ll revisit this next year.

Media reactions have largely been:

  • Where’s the evidence?
  • 🤷

Which bothers you more: those speaking out or those who seem to be doing nothing in response?

The upcoming release of The Age of Disclosure will likely spark renewed interest in this subject. Many newcomers will turn to r/UFOs and x. What do you want their initial impressions to be?

Should they think whistleblowers are unreliable? That there’s nothing to explore? That we should just give up? Or … what’s actually being done by politicians?

Regardless of your opinions, continuously criticizing those who speak out won’t magically produce classified evidence. Instead, it reinforces stigma and deters future whistleblowers. We must create a supportive environment for those willing to come forward to prevent this topic from being buried once more.

When it comes to classified evidence, the responsibility lies with the Senate, the House, and the President. They will only act under pressure from both the public and lobbyists—or if a third party compels them to do so.

Be part of the solution, not the problem. Demand action from politicians. Share the message.

  1. I completely agree with your perspective! It’s frustrating to see so much focus on demanding proof, while the real challenge lies in the political landscape that surrounds UAP disclosures. The situation highlights the tension between secrecy and the public’s right to know.

The bureaucratic hurdles and the fear of reprisal that whistleblowers face are very real, and if we continue to dismiss their claims without considering the risks they take to come forward, we risk stifling future disclosures. It’s vital that we shift our frustration toward demanding accountability from those in power—our elected officials.

Encouraging an environment that supports transparency will require all of us to voice our concerns, lobby our representatives, and advocate for legislation that protects whistleblowers and encourages the sharing of information. As you mentioned, without public pressure, little will change.

When newcomers arrive in spaces like r/UFOs, it’s important they see a community that’s engaged and proactive, rather than cynical or dismissive. We should be fostering an atmosphere where curiosity and inquiry are welcomed, and where people feel empowered to speak out.

So let’s rally together, drive the conversation, and push our representatives to take this issue seriously. Change won’t happen overnight, but persistence is key!
