Unforgettable UFO Encounter
Time: Approximately 8 PM in the mid-1990s
Location: Seaside, Oregon
During my childhood in the ’90s, I lived in a quaint coastal town in Oregon. One evening, my father and I decided to take our two dogs for a walk around 8 PM. We made our way to the baseball field at the end of our street. As we strolled through the field, something in the night sky caught my eye. There was a “star” that didn’t look like the others. Curious, I asked my dad about it, and he replied casually, “it’s just a star.”
Despite his dismissal, I couldn’t shake my uneasy feeling. The “star” appeared to be getting closer with each glance. I tried to express my concerns to my dad, but he remained indifferent and didn’t even look up.
Then I noticed our dogs acting strangely—tails tucked, ears back, clearly on edge. I felt compelled to look up again. Just above the trees, at a height of around 200-400 feet, hovered a massive UAP. It was the quintessential flying saucer, a large metallic craft adorned with multiple glowing circular lights along its rim. It moved with incredible speed and utter silence.
Panicking, I called for my father, and when he finally turned to see what I was pointing at, he simply shouted, “Run!” He grabbed my hand, and we sprinted back home. That’s where my memory of the event ends. This experience left a lasting impression on me, marking the beginning of my fascination with the unknown. Since then, I’ve had several other peculiar experiences, but this one remains the most significant.
