I created an app called UFO Battle that features over 2600 UFO videos!
Hey /r/ufos! I wanted to share something I think you’ll find fascinating. My app is inspired by the “Hot or Not” concept from The Social Network, but instead of photos, it showcases UFO clips.
Here’s how it works: Each new video starts with a baseline score of 1000. Users are shown two videos at a time and choose the one they think is better. The scores then adjust using an ELO algorithm.
You can also check out the leaderboard to see the top-rated videos.
It’s a straightforward concept, and I’m keeping it simple and user-friendly. Feel free to check it out at

I’d love to hear your thoughts or any feedback you have, and let me know if you encounter any issues.
Thanks!
That sounds like a really fun and engaging idea! Combining UFO videos with a voting mechanic is a clever way to let the community participate and share opinions. The ELO scoring system should provide a fair way to determine the top-rated clips, too. I’m curious about how you sourced the UFO videos—are they all user-submitted, or did you curate them from existing databases?
Also, it would be interesting to see if you plan on adding features down the line—maybe an option for users to submit their own videos, or comments on clips? Looking forward to checking it out on the site! Great work!
