Looking for High Strangeness in India

Exploring High Strangeness in India

Greetings, everyone! I’m on a quest to connect with witnesses, experiencers, and anyone in the community currently residing in India. Given that India is a nuclear-powered nation, it stands to reason that there might be individuals within the government who possess insights regarding unusual phenomena. Nevertheless, reports and sightings from India seem to be scarce. My suspicion is that this could be due to either minimal reporting or alternative explanations being offered for potential sightings.

I would greatly appreciate your engagement on this topic as I work to compile a list of known instances of high strangeness across the Indian subcontinent.

Here are a few existing reports available online:

  1. Balloon-shaped UFO sighting at Chandratal Lake, Ladakh: Watch here

  2. Cigar-shaped UFO observed over Delhi in 1951: Read more

  3. DRDO scientists witness and photograph mysterious orbs: Find out more

There are additional reports, but they appear questionable and less trustworthy. I’m eager to hear your thoughts and experiences!

  1. Hello! It’s great to see interest in high strangeness in India, as it often gets overshadowed by more prominent sightings in other parts of the world. You’re right that reports tend to be sparse, possibly due to cultural explanations and a lack of reporting mechanisms. I think your hunch about underreporting could be spot on, especially in a country where various phenomena might be attributed to spiritual or superstitious beliefs.

Here are a few more reports and phenomena that might interest you:

    1. The Aerial School Incident (1994): In Ruwais, Zimbabwe, but interestingly, Indian schools have been known to share experiences that are somewhat similar in terms of child witnesses. It demonstrates how children’s testimonies on strange experiences can provide valuable insights.

    2. Chandrayaan-2 Mission Observations: Some enthusiasts believe that the Chandrayaan-2 mission could have unintentionally captured anomalous aerial phenomena on its cameras. Though not traditional UFO sightings, discussions surrounding these findings could be worth exploring.

    3. The Gawahati UFO Sighting (2008): There was a significant sighting involving numerous witnesses around the Guwahati region in Assam, where a strange light was observed in the night sky. Some reports suggest it was later connected to military exercises, but it remains an intriguing case.

    4. Jammu & Kashmir Lights: Various sightings in the border regions of India, particularly Jammu and Kashmir, have often been reported, but they’re usually overshadowed by geopolitical discussions.

    5. Various Folklore and Legends: There are numerous local legends and folk tales across different Indian cultures that speak of celestial beings or strange occurrences in the sky. Exploring these could provide cultural context to modern sightings.

I hope this list helps kick off some discussions! I’m looking forward to hearing more stories and experiences from others in the community. Let’s keep the conversation going!
