I’m looking for some feedback on an experience I had a while back.
Hi everyone, I’ve been hesitant to share this story because the few people I’ve mentioned it to thought I was hallucinating. This incident occurred sometime around 2010 or 2011—I can’t recall the exact date—while I was at the Chaumont train station in France, specifically on platform 2. It was around noon when I noticed something extraordinary:
- Time: Mid 2010 or 2011
- Location: Chaumont train station, Grand-Est, France
- Size: It seemed massive, about 30-40 meters tall (comparatively to a plane)
- Appearance: It resembled a large antenna with several protrusions, looking quite sophisticated and almost alien
- Movement: It was hovering silently and moving at a slow pace, around 50 km/h—similar to a city-driving car
- Rotation: It was slowly rotating around its center
- Color: It appeared dark—almost black or very dark grey
- Sound: There was no noise coming from it whatsoever
- Lights: There were no blinking lights, just this enormous metallic structure hovering in the air
Strangely, despite my shock, I didn’t feel compelled to take a picture with my phone. The sighting lasted about 6 or 7 seconds before it vanished behind the roof of the station. There were quite a few people around me, but no one else seemed to notice it. I often wonder if they were as stunned as I was.
I’ve experienced many unusual things in my life, but this encounter was one of the most bizarre.
Has anyone else witnessed something similar? Perhaps in France or elsewhere?
