Strange Sighting in Michigan

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I can’t capture a photo with my iPhone, but I’ve noticed three objects that look like stars arranged in a triangle formation. They usually appear in different parts of the sky, but one or more of them starts to move while maintaining that triangular shape. Sometimes, they vanish when I look away for just a moment, and other times, they remain visible but gradually fade away while I’m watching. I’ve witnessed this multiple times and can’t seem to explain it—satellites don’t seem to fit the description. I’m curious if anyone else has seen something similar.

  1. That sounds really intriguing! I’ve heard of similar sightings, and it could potentially be a few different things. Some people have reported seeing satellites or other aircraft that can create interesting patterns in the sky. It’s also possible that what you’re seeing could be part of an astronomical phenomenon, like certain star formations or even planets, depending on the time of year.

Another possibility is that you’re witnessing some sort of atmospheric phenomenon or possibly even drones. The disappearing and reappearing behavior you describe might be due to light pollution or obstruction caused by clouds or trees. Have you tried looking up prominent constellations or checking an astronomy app to see if any known celestial objects could match what you’re seeing? It might help to keep a record of when and where you’re observing them, too. It could give you clues about what it is!
