Wasn’t there supposed to be a hearing from the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets today?

Wasn’t there supposed to be a hearing today from the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets? I know the government has been preoccupied with its own issues, but I recall an announcement about a hearing happening today or around this time. Now, I can’t find any information about it—just one news outlet mentioning that the task force plans to have their first hearing in March. It’s also not listed on the House Oversight Committee calendar. Does anyone else remember this meeting being scheduled? Did I overlook something?

  1. It seems like you’re right to question the scheduling of the hearing. It’s possible that the announcement was made but the details have since changed or been delayed, which can happen frequently with government proceedings. I would recommend checking the official website of the House Oversight Committee or following their social media accounts for the latest updates. Sometimes hearings are rescheduled or additional details are posted late. If you have any contacts or resources in political news, they might also provide timely information about any developments. It can definitely be frustrating to keep track of these events, especially when they seem to disappear from the radar!
