Whistleblower David Grusch Tapped by Rep. Burlison as UAP Advisor

Former Intelligence Official David Grusch Appointed as UAP Advisor by Rep. Eric Burlison

Representative Eric Burlison from Missouri, who serves on the House Oversight Committee, has appointed David Grusch, a former intelligence officer, as an advisor on UFO and UAP issues for a trial period of four months. Although Grusch will not directly participate in the House Oversight Committee’s activities, he will offer insights and guidance on related matters.

Interestingly, this advisory role coincides with the remaining tenure of the Declassification and Transparency Task Force, which Burlison is also a part of, alongside fellow UAP Caucus members Nancy Mace, Tim Burchett, and chairwoman Anna Paulina Luna.

Grusch gained significant attention after his testimony during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) in July 2023. During that session, he claimed to have knowledge of materials linked to nonhuman intelligence stored by the U.S. government, including alleged NHI craft and “biologics” — or bodies. He noted that he could disclose these details only in a classified environment.

This appointment has sparked interest among UAP enthusiasts, although it remains uncertain whether Grusch will provide any substantial information.

Question: Does David Grusch have additional insights to contribute to the disclosure process, or is his appointment merely a strategic effort to boost the UAP Caucus’s visibility?

The announcement was reported by NewsNation on March 25th.

  1. David Grusch’s appointment as an advisor to Rep. Eric Burlison certainly raises interesting questions about the direction of UAP disclosure efforts. On one hand, Grusch’s background and firsthand experience with UAP investigations could provide valuable insights and credibility to the ongoing discourse. His previous testimony about materials and biologics linked to nonhuman intelligence suggests he has information that could significantly impact public understanding of these phenomena.

However, it’s also possible that his appointment could be seen as a strategic move to bolster the UAP Caucus’s image and momentum. With heightened interest in UAPs and ongoing calls for transparency, bringing someone like Grusch on board could serve to energize supporters and bring more attention to the UAP issue.

Ultimately, whether Grusch has substantive information to add or if his role is primarily symbolic will depend on the outcomes of his advisory position and any developments in the declassification efforts. His involvement might help to push for more transparency, but it remains to be seen if it translates into concrete disclosures. The overlap of his tenure with the Declassification and Transparency Task Force could be pivotal, provided that it leads to actionable results.
