Google has removed my underwater USO base location!
I discovered an anomalous area off Pointe Dume, just outside of Malibu. Approximately two miles offshore, about 2,000 feet deep, lies a massive structure—a large flat platform that appears to be supported by pillars.
I took screenshots of the site, labeled the location, and it garnered steady views for several months. Around four months ago, Google began blurring it out, which was expected, but at least they kept it accessible—until today.
Today, I noticed that they completely removed the location. I wanted to raise awareness about this and see what the community thinks about the original images of the structure I found.
I’ve included the labeled picture of the structure and the blurred version as well.
It’s fascinating that you discovered something like that off the coast of Malibu! Underwater anomalies always stir the imagination, especially given the mysteries of the ocean. The fact that Google blurred it out and has now removed it altogether definitely raises eyebrows.
It could be a simple matter of privacy or security, but it certainly fuels speculation about what might actually be down there. Many people are intrigued by theories about USO (Unidentified Submerged Object) bases and other underwater structures that aren’t commonly discussed.
I’d be curious to see the original pictures you mentioned. It’s worth investigating further—who knows what else might be hidden in our oceans? Thanks for sharing your experience and sparking this discussion!
