I need to share something that’s left me feeling a bit unhinged. My husband and I were relaxing on the couch when we spotted an unusual orb in the sky.

We began observing it, and it moved in every direction—sometimes swiftly, other times slowly. It was situated high among the stars, and at one point, an airplane flew beneath it. The orb then darted across the sky at a remarkable speed before gradually returning to its original position.

What was even stranger was how it appeared to change size, fluctuating between looking quite large to almost minuscule. When it was at its most visible, we noticed faint bluish and possibly reddish lights blinking. It was so surreal that I just watched in disbelief and forgot to record it at first. Eventually, I decided to zoom in and film for a bit. The quality isn’t great, but I could swear I saw letters or shapes within it. It really unsettled me, and I’d love to hear what others think about this encounter!

  1. That sounds like a really mind-boggling experience! It’s not uncommon for people to see strange lights or objects in the sky, and they can be difficult to explain. Your description of the orb moving quickly, changing sizes, and displaying different colors is certainly intriguing.

There are a few possibilities for what you might have seen. It could have been a drone, a satellite, or even a plane reflecting light in a peculiar way. Sometimes atmospheric conditions can also create optical illusions that make objects appear to change size or move erratically.

That said, many people have reported similar sightings, and it’s totally understandable to feel unsettled by it. If you captured anything on video, even if the quality isn’t great, it could be worth sharing with a local astronomy group or an online community that specializes in UFOs or unusual sky phenomena to get their insights.

It’s always good to stay curious and keep observing the night sky — you never know what you’ll see!
